A Certified Agile Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent) is a professional who is trained and certified to facilitate Agile teams using the Scrum framework. A Scrum Master is not a traditional manager. Instead, they act as a servant leader who helps the team work efficiently and follow Agile principles.
Key responsibilities:
1. Facilitates Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective)
2. Removes obstacles (blockers) that slow down the team
3. Coaches team members on Agile and Scrum practices
4. Ensures the team follows Scrum rules and values
5. Protects the team from distractions or external interruptions

The certifications are awarded based on competencies and merits. NIEVGEN (and its assessors) has the sole authority over the awards. Awarded certifications are owned by NIEVGEN and may be withdrawn if the receipient showed undesirable and unethical behaviors.

CASM-12. Create project metric dashboard using Atlassian Jira.

CASM-14. Create themes, initiatives, epics, tasks, features and user stories.
CASM-15. Create agile release trains (ART).
CASM-16. Use WireframeSketcher for product UI/UX/wireframe models.
CASM-17. Demonstrate T-shirt sizing and poker planning.
CASM-18. Demonstrate daily scrum meeting, product demonstration, sprint review and sprint retrospectives.
1. The participants must have a windows-computer (laptop and desktop). Demo software will be provided to the participants during training.
2. The participants must install ZOOM and Google Chat (also available in mobile phones).
3. The participants must commit to attending the whole class and submitting all the competency requirements of the class.
4. The participants must demonstrate excellence and must fully participate. Participants must be courteous at all times.
